Lumos

The Thermo Scientific Fusion Lumos mass spectrometer is a tribrid instrument, consisting of orbitrap and linear ion trap mass analysers. It is predominantly used for the analysis of TMT labelled peptides using SPS-MS3 workflows and is coupled with a Thermo U300 nanoLC pump.

Astral

The Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Astral is the most recent addition to the CCP lab.  The instrument is used for high sensitivity DIA analysis of label-free peptides and is coupled with FAIMS and a Thermo Vanquish Neo nano LC pump, which is optimised for fast run times (down to 7 minutes).

TimsTOF

The Bruker timsTOF HT mass spectrometer is used for high sensitivity dia-PASEF analysis of label-free peptides and is coupled with a nanoElute 2 nanoLC pump.
